This Mama is teary-eyed...
This child--one year ago starting kindergarten and unable to even grasp the concept of tracing simple lines let alone have the visual-motor coordination for that simple task--today did her first practice "spelling test", writing her words independently with only auditory cues. Given, the words are quite simple and the letter formation is still developing, but I am so proud of Isabel! She got them all right on the first try and the words are legible.
Feeling grateful and proud.
